The new Town of Lyons Wayfinding Plan includes a comprehensive redesign for signage that addresses the need to both celebrate the Town and its character, while also encouraging visitors to stop and explore. With three major highways bisecting the Town and heavy travel traffic throughout the year, the new Lyons signage will help provide drivers with advance notice that they’re approaching the Town and that it has a lot to and is a great place to stop for food, creation, shopping, dog walking and exploring. Lyons is on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park, which is the most-visited destination in Colorado. Although this comes with heavy traffic, it also presents an opportunity to market the town to these potential visitors. The new signage and wayfinding plan will help promote the town for drivers, pedestrians, bikers, hikers, and tubers.
