The Sheridan Safety project is a corridor planning effort focused on reducing crashes and improving safety for everyone who travels along Sheridan. The project combines crash data analysis with field reviews to better understand where serious crashes are occurring and what roadway conditions may be contributing to them. This technical work is supported by targeted community engagement to gather input from residents, businesses, and corridor users about their experiences and safety concerns.

Using this information, the project will identify and prioritize practical improvements that support a safer and more connected multimodal network. The goal is to develop clear, implementable recommendations that improve safety for people walking, biking, taking transit, and driving while advancing broader regional safety goals.
